Arvizio Targets Augmented and Mixed Reality Training and Simulation

MR Studio™ Live Demonstrations at I/ITSEC

Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – December 1, 2017 – Arvizio, Inc., today announced successful demonstrations of the training and simulation capabilities of their MR Studio™ enterprise mixed reality platform at I/ITSEC 2017 in Orlando.

MR Studio provides a comprehensive mixed reality experience with the ability to incorporate projects into a fully collaborative, 3D holographic experience complete with CAD project overlays, real-time video, audio and annotative abilities for both on-site and remote participants using any device (smartphone, tablet, etc.). This allows trainees to view, interact and understand products and machinery without requiring the physical objects, manuals and paperwork. The ability to collaborate in real time with remote participants provides additional value especially in the field itself where equipment knowledge for maintenance is essential.

“Organizations across a wide range of industry are seeking methods to increase efficiency, productivity and training capabilities,” said Jonathan Reeves, Arvizio’s CEO. “Incorporating MR Studio’s mixed reality platform into training programs removes the need for travel to a single training location and eliminates the need for dedicated equipment that could otherwise be commercially deployed.”

“KBRWyle has years of experience developing VR applications for government and military usage and we see a very bright future for Mixed Reality,” said Michael Hardy, General Manager – Modelling, Simulation & Training at KBRWyle. “The Arvizio platform provides a unique set of capabilities useful in training scenarios including multi-user collaboration and handling of large CAD, construction and engineering models.”

I/ITSEC is the world’s largest modeling, simulation, and training conference organized by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting. The NTSA is an affiliate subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
